Calvary Murrieta - Prison Ministry

The Prison Ministry has been an outreach to the Southwest Detention Center in Murrieta since 1993. This ministry has a heart for those who’ve lost their way and now have found themselves at what seems to be their lowest. We meet with these men in teams of two at the Southwest Detention Center weekly on Friday evenings with Bible studies, sharing a word of encouragement, God’s grace and the Gospel.

Some of our ministries serve quietly and you won't necessarily see them in action. One is our Prison Outreach that has been in place here since 1993. We provide Friday night Bible studies to the men at Southwest Detention Center and have seen many precious souls come to Jesus and families be restored over those years.
