The Fear of the Lord

Everyone fears something and that impacts decisions and the course of life. The fear of the Lord means to take God and His love seriously, which leads to confidence and a full life, keeping one from destruction. Jesus modeled a healthy fear of the Lord most powerfully when He surrendered and went to the cross.
