Labor Trafficking
In this workshop, you will learn how human trafficking exploits vulnerability and why this form of abuse can affect anyone, in any community. Paul will focus on how labor trafficking works, what it is, and why it often occurs in plain sight. Labor trafficking involves forcing people to work against their will, yet it is frequently overlooked as part of everyday life. The food we eat, the products we buy, and many of the services we rely on may be connected to labor trafficking without us realizing it. This session explores the dynamics of labor trafficking to build awareness and deepen understanding of how exploitation takes place locally and globally. You will have a clearer lens for recognizing labor trafficking and understanding how it intersects with our daily lives.
