When God Speaks

Pastor Brian reminds us that when God speaks, it is not just to give information but to form and transform us, revealing that He is a relational and faithful God who speaks through His Word, His Spirit, and conviction. In the Book of Job, God does not answer Job’s “why” but reveals His sovereign “Who,” shifting the focus from explanations to trust. The same voice that spoke from the whirlwind is the voice of Jesus who calmed the storm, showing us that whether in silence or speech, we can trust the God who rules it all.
