Nehemiah 4

Nehemiah 4 reminds us that God’s work will often face resistance, but opposition doesn’t mean we’re outside God’s will. As ridicule turns into threats and discouragement begins to wear down the people, Nehemiah calls them to pray, build, watch, and remember—keeping their eyes on a great and awesome God. This chapter challenges us to keep building what God has called us to build, staying prayerful and watchful while trusting that our God will fight for us. Ultimately, Nehemiah points us to Jesus, who continued His mission through ridicule, rejection, and the cross without turning away from the Father’s work.
