North Korea remains the most brutally hostile place for Christians to live. If discovered by the authorities, believers are either sent to labor camps as political prisoners where the conditions are atrocious, or killed on the spot – and their families will share their fate as well.

Please pray that the Holy Spirit will continuously pour supernatural peace and strength into believers held in labor camps.
That Christians who bravely gather in secret will be protected from the prying eyes of the authorities.

Christians in Somalia face extreme danger from al-Shabaab extremists, Muslim leaders, and their own families. All Christian activity must be done in secret.

Christians in Yemen face threats from Islamic extremist groups and risk house arrest, torture, rape, and death and are blocked from receiving humanitarian aid for the civil war as it is distributed through mosques. Persecution in Yemen has increased in the last year.

The Eritrean government recognizes only three Christian denominations and heavily monitors churches. Approximately 1000 believers are in prisoned indefinitely and without charges. Some are released only to fight in the conflict in Tigray but not to return home.

Libya is effectively a lawless land where both native Christians and those passing through from other countries face extreme violence. With no central government to maintain law and order, militant Islamic extremist groups and organized crime groups both wield power. They target and kidnap Christians, and some believers have been killed.

For nationwide stability, that law and order will come quickly to Libya.
That God would break the power of the organized criminal gangs exploiting vulnerable people.

Christians in Nigeria, particularly the north, face danger from Islamic extremist groups. In the Sharia states of northern Nigeria, Christians face discrimination and exclusion as second-class citizens. Christians from a Muslim background also face rejection from their own families, pressure to give up Christianity, and often physical violence.

Christians in Pakistan are considered second-class citizens and face discrimination in every aspect of life. Jobs that are seen as low, dirty and degrading are reserved for Christians by the authorities, who continue to push them to the margins of society. They lack proper representation in politics and can be easily accused of “blasphemy” and arrested. Many do not feel safe to worship freely.

Please pray that Pakistan's blasphemy laws will be changed so that Christians will be safe from false accusations.
Pray for protection for women who suffer domestic violence and girls who are forced into marriage. Ask God to work in the hearts of their husbands to treat them with kindness and respect.
Pray for wisdom and protection for those reaching out to help communities displaced by last year's floods.
