Are you ready for the Bible to come alive in living color? For thousands of years, no place has been more meaningful to God's children than the land of Israel. God used the geography and events of Israel to shape the lives of His people in the Bible -- and He is doing the same today.
Almost all of the great Biblical stories took place in this tiny sliver of real estate. Prophets like Isaiah, Jeremiah, Elijah, and Elisha roamed this land. Our favorite Bible stories, like David facing Goliath and so many others, happened here. But the most significant events were those of the birth, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The state of Israel is a modern-day miracle and a fulfillment of Bible prophecy. Against all odds, the Jewish people returned to their homeland and established a country once again on May 14, 1948. This was spoken of by Ezekiel in the 37th chapter of his book, among others. When you walk through Israel today, you are walking through a fulfilled Bible prophecy.
World history, as we know it, will end in the Middle East. Jerusalem will play a key role in last-days events, as the nations of the world gather against her. Christ Himself will return to Israel and set foot on the Mount of Olives, which is right outside of Jerusalem.
